Just like the seasons, things are shifting and changing with us. Can we tell you exactly what that looks like…I wish we could, but for now its a straight up no! We do know that God has a purpose and a plan for everything that has happened the last four years with us living full time in an RV. We are so glad He led us to be involved in an RV ministry, the places we have visited, the different camps and Christian organizations that have welcomed us and the personal lessons/growth we have experienced in ourselves and our marriage because of the RV lifestyle. We have definitely had challenging moments where our little space has seemed even smaller when conflict has arisen between us, but it has forced us to tackle those challenges head on, because honestly where else can one go? T’s back after hurting it over a year ago is still bothering him with some days being better than others, so we do know that Drs appointments needed to be set and taken care of. After serving in Louisiana the month of March we will be heading back to Texas for a few weeks and then on to Oklahoma with no plans after that at this time. Much will depend on doctors appointments and how things go. I think all of you that read my blog know this already, but we are also going to be welcoming a new grandbaby, a little girl near the end of August in Texas. We excited about this news and that does factor in to some of the possible changes. T and I didn’t really have a plan when we went on the road except that we knew we needed our own space and had found a way to work camp those first six months to off set costs. We thought by now we would have a home base and still be travelling, but not full time. We have had to take a moment to reflect. We are in a season of trying to take time to really listen to each others wants and needs while trusting that God ultimately guides our steps {Proverbs 16:9}.
We have much we need to take care of in Oklahoma with a storage container still full of stuff, as well as family to assist with different things. I ask for prayer for our time there as we attend more Drs appointments, spend time with family and friends and go through the storage container. I also ask for peace in my heart and mind as we will funnily enough be there during storm season my least favorite part of the year! It seems the more I try and run from that time of year the more I find myself in a location that experiences crazy weather anyways.
Below I have chosen some pictures to help summarize our last few months T and I are off social media for Lent so this is the only way we will be communicating online for a while. I’m hoping that this month we will have decent internet so I can check in at least once while we are in Louisiana. T and I are doing a 52 week walk through the bible study which we are enjoying doing together and I have taken up doing some free classes through the Bible Project on the Hebrew Bible to help me not fill my time off social media with a different type of scrolling. Day one was a struggle so I had to take my Instagram icon and put it where I couldn’t see it to access it. That seems to have worked and I am hoping I will start practicing new healthier habits moving forward.
As always I hope this blog post finds you all well. Thankful for each of you- Lou
